General information

Rosebery Hall consists of the Rosebery Wing and the Myddelton Wing. All rooms have their own washbasin, desk, lamp, and wardrobe. Standard rooms have been recently refurbished. Breakfast is included in the fees. Note: none of the rooms are air-conditioned.

Refurbishment at Rosebery Hall (Myddelton Wing)
En suite bathrooms in the Myddelton Wing will be refurbished between June and September 2019, which we expect to cause some disruption to rooms adjacent. Contractors are working between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, and they'll occasionally need to work on the weekend, too. We will try to keep noise disruption to a minimum and keep residents informed of key dates when disruption may be more intense.

Information about booking, discounts and cancellations

How to make a booking

Book online using your LSE Summer School username and password

You will receive those from the LSE Summer School Office. You'll need to log in with your LSE Summer School username and password to make a booking. Once you have those, we recommend you book your accommodation straight away.

Book online (login required)

Booking shared rooms

If you're planning to attend Summer School with a friend, and you would like to share a room, please have their details ready when you book. You will need to enter your sharer's name when you make the booking, and the payment needs to come from one of you. We don't allocate sharers on a random basis.

Prep English course accommodation

We offer Preparatory English course accommodation in halls that might not be available during the sessions, but only for Prep English courses. That means if you're taking part in a Prep English course, you'll most likely need to move from the Prep English hall to the other hall that you've booked for the session. They're all in Central London, so you won't have to travel far.

Multi-session discount

If you book multiple consecutive sessions, then the connecting night from Saturday to Sunday is free of charge. So for one session you pay for 20 nights, and for two sessions you only pay for 40 nights but stay for 41 nights. And if you book all three sessions, then you can stay 62 nights but only pay for 60.
