Photography Competition

Journeys Through Social Policy

Photography competition for Department of Social Policy Students, Staff and Alumni

We are inviting our students, staff and alumni to submit photography that explores personal, societal, or historical journeys within the field of Social Policy. Winning entries will be professionally produced and mounted on the walls in the Department of Social Policy!

Questions to Consider:

What does Social Policy mean to you?

How has it shaped your experiences?

What impact does Social Policy have on communities and individuals?

Submission Guidelines:

✅ Three submissions per person maximum.

✅ Formats accepted: Photography only (high-resolution images).

✅ Minimum 300 DPI for prints.

✅ JPEG or PNG formats are preferred.

✅ Ensure the image is not upscaled artificially (which can cause blurriness).

✅ A brief caption (max 100 words).

Please note: If you are one of our alumni, you will need to use your LSE alumni email address to submit an entry.

Judging:

  • All submissions will be judged by a panel drawn from across the department.
  • Judges will only see the submission and caption—personal details will remain anonymous.
