Opportunities
Current
Science for Animal Welfare runs the University LINKs Scheme, an international network of people, members, and supporters across universities, research institutes, and colleges worldwide. The scheme reflects the growing global interest in animal welfare science and helps connect institutions that are committed to advancing the field.
We are pleased to be part of this network, with PhD student Rebecca Dreier currently serving as our co-link, based in the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method.
There are regular opportunities for supporting students pursuing projects in animal welfare science, details will be published on their website. If you are interested in applying as an LSE student, feel free to reach out to Rebecca Dreier at r.m.dreier@lse.ac.uk.
If you would like formal visitor status (including LSE ID card and library access), we recommend exploring the CPNSS Visitor Programme, run by a closely linked research centre. For informal visits, feel free to contact us at philosophy.sentience@lse.ac.uk.
We host and co-host a range of events, many of which are free and open to the public. Visit our Events page for details.
You are also welcome to reach out to individual staff members directly - contact details are available on our People page.
