Brunello Rosa is author of "Smart Money. How digital currencies will win the new Cold War – and why the West needs to act now," which was selected by the Financial Times among the Best Economics Books in 2024.
Brunello is the CEO and Head of Research at Rosa & Roubini Associates, an independent macro-financial and geo-political advisory firm he co-founded with renowned economist Nouriel Roubini. Previously he worked at the Bank of England, in Markets, Financial Stability and its Centre for Central Banking Studies. Brunello is Adjunct Professor at Bocconi University’s Business School, at after being Visiting Professor and Senior Executive Fellow for several years. He is also an Associate of the Centre For Macroeconomics and a Visiting Senior Fellow at the School of Public Policy of the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he is coordinator of the Executive Education course in Global Macroeconomic Challenges. He is a Honorary Visiting Professor at City, University of London. He holds a number of policy advisory positions at the European Investment Bank, the UK Parliament, the Bank of England, and the Italian Embassy in the UK.
