Yuan Chi is a first-year PhD student in the Department of International Relations at LSE. Generally interested in political psychology in international relations, she focuses on how status concerns shape American politics and US foreign policy.

Prior to joining the programme, she completed an MSc in International Relations at LSE and an LLM in Diplomacy at Renmin University of China. Following her studies, Yuan interned at the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) as a research assistant.
