Omry is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics. His main research interests are labour and public economics, focusing on inequality, discrimination and job search.
Before joining the Department, he was employed as a research assistant to Victor Lavy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and to Adi Brender at the Bank of Israel.
Omry holds an MA in Economics and a BA in Economics and International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
