Xavier is a PhD student in the Department of Economics. He works at the intersections of spatial, environmental and development economics.

Currently, he is working on a project using quantitative spatial models to understand the costs of asymmetric city shape. His other areas of interest include the spatial equilibrium impacts of housing policy, spatial vulnerability to climate change, and the environmental consequences of meat consumption.

Xavier holds an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from LSE and a BA in Physics and Philosophy from Oxford.
