Vastav is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. His primary research interest is macroeconomics.
Before joining the programme he held a predoctoral fellowship at the Indian Statistical Institute in New Delhi, working on projects related to health economics in India and universal health coverage.
Vastav holds both an MSc and a BSc in Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
