Varun is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. His primary research interests are macroeconomics and international economics.
Before joining the Department, he was employed as a predoctoral research assistant to Silvana Tenreyro and as a research assistant in the Financial Markets Group, LSE.
Varun holds a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, and an MSc in Economics from LSE.
