Torge is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. His primary research interest is environmental economics.

Before joining the Department, he was employed as a predoctoral research assistant by Daniel Sturm. He also worked as a research assistant to Christoph Trebesch at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.

Torge holds a BSc in Economics from Christian-Albrechts-Universitat, Kiel, and an MSc in Economics from LSE.
