Tom is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics. His research interests lie within the field of labour economics, focussing on technological change and the labour market with application towards inequality.

Currently, he is working on attitudes towards migration across the EU.

Before joining the programme, he worked as a research assistant for Camille Landais in the Centre for Economic Performance, and as the Head of Data at the New Statesman.

Tom holds an MSc in Economics from University College London and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics.
