About

Tom is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics at LSE. His primary research interest is econometric theory, with a focus on questions of external validity and of the sensitivity of economic models to their assumptions.

His current work investigates these issues using Quasi-Bayesian methods, with the aim of creating methods which can be practically used by applied researchers in both reduced-form and structural settings, with a view to improving real-world policymaking.

Told holds both a BSc and an MSc in Economics and Econometrics from LSE.
