Shinsaku (Chris) is an MPhil/PhD student in Economic Geography. His current research interests include the impact of social capital on university graduate migration in England and the economic effects of road noise in urban areas.

Prior to joining the programme, he worked as a research assistant at the Research Institute of Economy, Trade and Industry (RIETI) and Hitotsubashi University. He holds an MSc in Local Economic Development from LSE and a BA in Liberal Arts from Soka University of America.
