Shaun Danielli is a Resident Senior Policy Fellow, Bloomberg LSE European City Leadership Initiative at LSE Cities. Shaun began his career in systems engineering and improvement, working with Airbus, Cranfield Management Centre and PA Consulting, before moving into health and public policy in 2006. Since then, he has worked across Guy’s and St Thomas’, NHS London and the Greater London Authority.

Much of this work has focused on London. He was Programme Director for the review of health and healthcare commissioned by the then Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, established and led Healthy London Partnership, and was Director of Population Health and Equity at King’s Health Partners and NHS South East London.

Before joining LSE Cities, Shaun was Senior Lead: Delivery & Impact at the Ellison Institute of Technology. He continues to support the Mayor of London and the GLA health team as Researcher in Residence, and is establishing the Centre for Urban Health & Healthcare at Imperial College London with Professor Lord Ara Darzi.

Shaun holds an MSc by Research from Cranfield University and a PhD in Urban Health and Healthcare Transformation from Imperial College London. He is also a trustee of London Sport, where he chairs the Strategy and Impact Committee.
