Robert Allen is a PhD Student in the Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method. He's primarily interested in neuropsychiatry, and his current project is focused on using computational methods to better understand cognitive behavioural therapy's mechanism of action. He is also broadly interested in how the mind works, and finding better ways of answering the most difficult questions about the mind.
Previously he completed an undergraduate degree and an MPhil (both in philosophy) at the University of Cambridge, mainly working on philosophy of science, depression, and corporate criminal liability.
