
About
Paula is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics. Her research interests lie at the intersection of empirical macroeconomics, monetary economics and financial economics.
She is currently working on inflation expectations, commodity shocks, and risk transmission in financial networks. During her PhD studies, she has visited both Norges Bank and the Bank for International Settlements for as a research intern.
Before joining the programme, she worked on monetary analysis at the European Central Bank, and on financial stability at the Deutsche Bundesbank.
Paul holds an MSc in Quantitative Economics from the University of Munich (LMU) and a BA in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
