Natasha A. Georgiou is a Visting Fellow at the LSE European Institute. Natasha has a PhD in Energy Regulation in International Trade and Investment with a specific focus on the EU’s external relations with Russia and the European Neighbourhood.

Before joining LSE, Natasha was a Visiting Research Fellow at the King's Russia Institute at King's College of London (KCL). Other research fellowships have included: the Wits School of Governance (WSG) in Johannesburg; the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence; the Energy Charter Secretariat (ECS) in Brussels; and the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES) in Oxford.

Natasha’s areas of expertise include Energy Regulation in International Trade and Investment; EU External Relations Law; EU-Russia Relations; the Eastern Partnership; the EU's Common Commercial Policy; the Third Energy Package; the Energy Charter Treaty; the EU’s energy acquis; the external dimension of the internal energy market; Normative Power theory.

Natasha has an interdisciplinary academic background with undergraduate degrees completed in South Africa, namely Law and English from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) and a BA Honours in Greek and Classical Studies from University of Johannesburg (UJ). Natasha also holds an LLB and LLM (Commercial and Corporate Law) from the University of London; an LPC from BPP University; an MSc in Eurasian Political Economy and Energy from King's College of London; and a PhD in Law from the University of Reading under a fully funded studentship. Natasha is a qualified Solicitor of England & Wales.
