Marie is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics at LSE. Her primary research interests are macroeconomics, monetary economics and financial economics.

Marie holds a BSc in Business Administration from the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, and an MSc in Economics from the LSE. Before joining the Department, she worked as a Research Assistant at the LSE on topics in financial economics. She has also been employed as a trainee at the German Development Bank KfW, and as an intern at the OECD Development Co-operation Directorate, BCG, and McKinsey. Marie is currently a PhD Intern at the Bank of England.
