Maria is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. Her primary research interests are macroeconomics and family economics.

Before joining the Department, she was employed as a predoctoral research assistant to Elisa Rubbo at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Maria holds a BSc in Economics from University of Padua, an MSc in Economics from the University of Turin, and an MSc in Economics from the Collegio Carlo Alberto, as part of the Allievi Programme.
