About

Laura is a Senior Research Fellow with the Peace and Conflict Resolution Evidence Platform (PeaceRep), at Edinburgh Law School.

Laura’s research explores comparative peace process design and the politics of inclusion, with a particular focus on Women, Peace and Security and non-dominant minorities. As a Co-Investigator of the PeaceRep programme, Laura is leading research projects investigating gender perspectives in peace processes under conditions of conflict fragmentation. This research is funded by the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office (FCDO). Her research regularly informs governmental and inter-governmental policymaking on WPS, including the UN Secretary-General's annual report on women, peace and security.
