June is an LSE Fellow at the Global School of Sustainability, where her research focuses on climate finance, sovereign debt, and the cost of capital.
Her work aims to support countries in mobilizing finance for climate mitigation and adaptation alongside managing rapidly evolving climate-related disaster risks. Previously, her work with Climate Policy Initiative and Climate Bonds Initiative supported the development of innovative climate finance mechanisms, with a particular focus on China's green finance policies.
She holds a PhD in Earth System Science from the Doerr School of Sustainability at Stanford University, MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a BA in Sociology and Asian Civilizations from Amherst College.
