Jan is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. His primary research interests are environmental and development economics.
Before joining the Department, he was employed as a research assistant in STICERD, working under Robin Burgess, Oriana Bandiera and Clare Balboni on projects on climate change adaptation, poverty traps, and conservation policy.
Jan holds a BA in International Relations from Technische Universitat, Dresden, and an MSc in Economics from LSE.
