I am a mathematician and data scientist. I work on problems in discrete probability and statistical physics that arise in the study of natural, engineered, and social collectives.
Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at Georgia Tech, where I am affiliated with the Institute for Data Engineering and Science, as well as the Algorithms and Randomness Center.
I am also a visiting postdoctoral fellow at the Santa Fe Institute. I have a PhD in statistics from UC Berkeley and MSc degrees in mathematics and physics from Bristol and Oxford, where I was a Marshall Scholar. I also have nine years of industry experience from a parallel career as a data scientist.
