Iván Vicente is an Assistant Professor at the University of Valencia and a Visiting Fellow at LSE’s WISPPRH.
He is an applied economist working on the economics of education and the economics of AI, with a particular interest in inequality of opportunity and gender gaps. His current projects include experimental research evaluating the effects of AI-powered tools on users’ output quality and productivity, and work on how school environments and access to knowledge, including financial literacy, shape gender and socioeconomic gaps in learning outcomes.
