Hanika is a former teacher from South Africa who has returned to philosophy to investigate topics such as political objectivity, polarisation and echo chambers under conditions of new media technologies. She is currently working on a theory of dogmatism and some methodological problems with its detection. She remains a committed teacher; she recently completed her PGCHE and constantly strives to improve her skills in learner-centred teaching.
