Dr Eva Khair is a physician, health, humanitarian and peacebuilding advisor. She is the founder of the #Women4Sudan global solidarity campaign, highlighting human rights violations, atrocity crimes and the war’s impact on civilians with an emphasis on women and girls, while pushing for meaningful protection and civilian leadership. Dr Khair is a parliamentary advisor on Sudan and former health and human rights diplomat to the United Nations. In August 2026, she briefed the UN Security Council on Protection of Civilians with a focus on healthcare, conflict-related and sexual/gender-based violence.
