Andriy Ivchenko is a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Social Policy at the LSE, combining over a decade of industry experience in applied behavioural science with eight years of teaching and course development across undergraduate, graduate, and executive programmes.

As Principal and Technical Excellence Lead for Behavioural Science at Insurance Australia Group (IAG), he leads enterprise-wide applications of behavioural insights to customer experience and digital transformation. He founded Expilab, an applied behavioural science consultancy, and has advised organisations including the European Commission, IFAD, UNEP, WRI, Nest Corporation, British Petroleum, Nationwide Building Society and many others. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as Behavioural Science Expert for the Municipality of Rome and Italy's Ministry of Health.

His research examines decision-making in digital environments and the implications of human-AI collaboration on behaviour. Current work focuses on information privacy, human-AI teaming in organisations, and public acceptance of AI-assisted policy decision-making. His methods include randomised controlled trials, field experiments, behavioural simulations, and biometric tools.

Andriy designed and taught courses in marketing research, consumer insights, and applied behavioural science at undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels at ESCI-Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona School of Management, KIBS and MSU. His teaching integrates case-based learning with experimental methods, and evaluations consistently exceed 9.0/10. He has delivered guest lectures across different graduate and MBA programs at IESE Business School and VU Amsterdam.

He contributes to LSE's Knowledge Exchange and Impact (KEI) programme with Professor Adam Oliver, serves on the Consultation Group of the International Behavioural Public Policy Association (IBPPA), supports the organisation of BPP Workshop series, and is affiliated with the LSE Behavioural Research Lab and LSE Consulting.
