Arlene Lo is a PhD student in LSE's Department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method. Previously, she pursued an MPhil in Physics and Philosophy at the University of Oxford. She also worked in AI policy prior to starting her PhD.

Her PhD project focuses on the interrelationships between subaltern epistemic traditions, science, and (political) decision-making. Her work is primarily focused on philosophy of science and social epistemology. She also has broader interests in social and political philosophy, such as anti-colonial thought, feminist philosophy, and critical theory.
