Alex Ben Hassine

Alex is a PhD Economics candidate in the Department of Economics at LSE. His research is currently focused on the organisational barriers to firm formation in developing countries.

Before joining the Department, he worked as a predoctoral fellow at the Center for the Economics of Human Development at the University of Chicago.

Alex holds an MSc in International Development from SOAS, and an MSc in Theoretical Physics from Utrecht University.
