Akash is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. His primary research interests are development, behavioural, and experimental economics.
Before joining the Department, he held a predoctoral fellowship with Rohini Pande at the Yale Economic Growth Center. He has also worked with the Bank of Canada's Analysis Group, and at Pipella Law.
Akash holds an MSc in International and Development Economics from Yale University and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics (BIE) from the University of British Columbia.
