Akash is an MRes Economics student on the MRes/PhD Economics programme in the Department of Economics. His primary research interests are development, behavioural, and experimental economics.

Before joining the Department, he held a predoctoral fellowship with Rohini Pande at the Yale Economic Growth Center. He has also worked with the Bank of Canada's Analysis Group, and at Pipella Law.

Akash holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics (BIE) from the University of British Columbia and an MSc in International and Development Economics from Yale University.

Research Interests
Development economics, Behavioural economics, Experimental economics.
