Abhijit is a PhD student in the Department of Economics. His research interests lie in the fields of macroeconomics, labour economics and organizations.
He is currently working on macroeconomic questions related to innovation using microeconomic theory and data.
Before joining the programme, he was a research assistant at the Collège de France, and a research associate at Harvard Business School.
Abhijit holds an MSc in Analysis and Policy in Economics from the Paris School of Economics, an MA from Columbia University, an MA in Education from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, and a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Madras.
