Postgraduate course selection 2026/27
Postgraduate students will be able to browse (but not select) courses from 10am on Monday 21 September 2026.
Course selection for postgraduates will be open from 10am on Thursday 24 September until 5pm on Friday 9 October 2026.

Methodology courses
During Autumn and Winter Terms there are a number of courses from the Department of Methodology available to PBS PhD students.
Other courses
PhD students should speak with their supervisor about additional courses that would be beneficial to their research and agree a training plan at the start of the academic year. Additional training is available from our PhD Academy and by accessing CIVICA courses.
You may wish to audit some additional courses, for which you will not gain credit. Please see details of course selection above in “Postgraduate course selection 2026/27”. Please contact the relevant course teacher to discuss how to access the class material of courses you are auditing if it is needed.
