Compassionate Neighbours is free community-led support for anyone living with or caring for a person with a serious, long-term or terminal illness.

Keen to volunteer, but don’t have the time each week? We have NEW one-off volunteering opportunities available at our Wandsworth, Tooting, Camden and Wembley Central (Brent) sites. Help us spread love and kindness to children living in poverty in London.

We are looking for compassionate individuals to provide comfort, companionship, and emotional support to our patients, families, and staff by visiting the hospice with your trained and registered Pets as Therapy (PAT) dog.

Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of people living within your community? The Namaste Care Service needs volunteers to offer practical, social and emotional support to people living in their homes in Newham, City & Hackney and Tower Hamlets affected by advanced dementia.

Volunteer Befrienders are at the heart of Maytree’s befriending model. They work alongside professional Lead Befrienders to provide a caring, compassionate and containing space for people who are feeling suicidal.

Are you passionate about closing the attainment gap for disadvantaged pupils? Do you want to make a meaningful contribution to your local community? LSE School Governor Scheme partners with the charity Governors for Schools to support LSE students and alumni to become volunteer governors at schools.
