Is it really bad that only 50% of social science papers are reproducible?

In an article for LSE Impact, Dr Ilka Gleibs discusses recent findings from the SCORE project, published in Nature, which indicate that only 50 per cent of social science papers are reproducible.
Dr Gleibs, who contributed to the project, argues that there are nevertheless reasons to be optimistic about the state of social science research.
