About me

Nilesh was Research Assistant on the LSE Middle East Centre research project, 'Explaining the Middle Eastern Health Inequality Paradox'.

A Doctoral Student of Health Policy and Health Economics at LSE, Nilesh received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering from Dr. B.A. Technological University, India. He has worked for SIEMENS as a Design Executive Engineer and with the State of New York as a Project Manager for IT data Center Migration project with Department of Mental Health, New York, USA. He has two master’s degrees in economics from USA (viz. University of Arkansas and Indiana University).

His research areas are Health Economics, Economics of Ageing, and Applied Econometrics & Machine Learning. His PhD thesis is centered at the intersection of Health Economics, Economics of Ageing, and Labor Economics. He has also worked on Social and Bayesian Network Analysis.
