Research Assistant (part-time)

Roads as Tools for (Dis)connecting Cities and Neighbourhoods: a Socio-spatial Study of Abu Dhabi

The LSE Middle East Centre seeks a part-time Research Assistant to provide efficient and proactive support for the research project Roads as Tools for (Dis)connecting Cities and Neighbourhoods: a Socio-spatial Study of Abu Dhabi, led by Principal Investigators Alexandra Gomes and Apostolos Kyriazis. This post will be based at the LSE Middle East Centre and will report to Kendall Livingston, Projects Coordinator.

Hours: Average of 5 hours per week 
Hourly Rate: £20.16 per hour 
Start date: January 2022
End date: July 2022 

The Research Assistant will assist with desk research, interviews and data analysis. Other responsibilities include conducting literature reviews and communicating research findings through various outlets. 

The successful candidate should have a Masters degree in a relevant topic (or near completion) and demonstrate experience or knowledge of the essential points listed in the Person Specification.
