
Winners from this year's Volunteer Thank You Awards
Over the last academic year, 329 alumni volunteered with us, resulting in over 800 recorded hours of volunteering, dedicated to inspiring our students' career journeys. Our employers took part in over 61 business projects, undertaken by over 285 students, as well as 25 employer events connecting with over 485 students in the department.

Student Engagement Award: Recognising students who have supported the team.
Hum Nosheerwan ~ For his consistent enthusiasm at creating content for us at multiple events.
Career Contribution Champion Award: Someone who has made an outstanding contribution to student careers this academic year.
Douglas Ledgerwood ~ For being an integral part of the MSc Management & Strategy mentorship scheme, going above and beyond what’s necessary.
Rising Star Alumni Award: A recent graduate who obtained the most volunteering hours this academic year.
Sibylle J Xatart ~ For her active engagement over the past couple of years, especially with our Global Master’s in Management exchange interviews and welcome week panels.
Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award: An alum who graduated over five years ago with the most volunteering hours this academic year.
Alvaro Pastor ~ For his passion in giving back to LSE, especially his enthusiasm when leading brand strategy workshops and in communication pieces.
Student Impact Alumni Award: An alumni volunteer nominated by students for their positive impact in the last academic year.
Nicola Bianchi ~ For the dedication and support he has given to MSc Human Resources and Organisation students throughout their links project.
This award was presented by MSc HRO student, Neha Deshpande, who said: “It was special to meet our department's alumni and employer partners. I had the chance to talk one to one with people who graduated 25 years ago. That was so sweet and quite memorable. So, it was my pleasure to present the award and attend such a nice event.”
Excellent Employer Event Award: Recognising employer-run events that particularly inspired and educated our students about different industries.
LVMH Discovery Panel ~ For delivering a fantastic deep dive into the luxury industry through a Discovery Panel.
Business Projects Sponsor Award: An outstanding Business Projects Sponsor for our students’ curriculum-embedded projects.
BP ~ For years of mentorship and programme support.
Curriculum Contribution Award: This was a new award we introduced this year for corporate partners who have closely supported our curriculum over the past few years, making a real impact on our students’ development as well as our work to bridge academic learning with industry experience.
Deichmann ~ For their significant contributions in hosting our Master’s in Management Programme students at their headquarters in Essen, Germany and providing them a hands-on learning experience and invaluable insights into their factories.
The Full Circle Award: For their continued engagement on the remarkable journey from student to alumni volunteer to employer partner.
Kai Wang, (formerly) Mastercard ~ For championing LSE talent and creating valuable employer connections.
A huge thank you to all the volunteers, students, alumni, and employer partners who have supported us this year, whether through events, business projects, collaborating with faculty, or producing digital content for us.
