Student and staff of the LSE CEMS cohort celebrate the graduation.
Earlier this month, 30 students from LSE's Department of Management were among the 1200 students from 33 leading global business schools who completed the prestigious CEMS (The Global Alliance in Management Education) Master in International Management (MIM).
This year’s global graduation ceremony, hosted by the Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo - FGV on Saturday 5 December, brought together the CEMS community in Rio de Janeiro as part of the 2025 Annual Events.
During their CEMS MIM, students study at two business schools belonging to the CEMS Alliance and take part in a business project with one of CEMS' 70 multinational corporate partners. On completion of their programme, they will speak three languages, including English.
Reflecting on the event, Dr Christine Côté, Academic Director of the CEMS MIM programme and the MBA Exchange at LSE, said:
“I was very proud to represent LSE as the Academic Director of our CEMS Master in International Management and to support our LSE CEMS students on their graduation day in the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro. It was a truly amazing event, highlighting the spirit and community of the CEMS Alliance - educating future global leaders.”
CEMS was founded to enable management education to build bridges across all borders and boundaries. The CEMS MIM is consistently ranked as one of the top Master's in Management in the world.

The Annual Events and CEMS MIM Graduation Ceremony are a dynamic gathering of CEMS students, faculty and corporate partners, featuring interactive discussions, workshops and global networking opportunities.
