Congratulations to Dr Lidiia Pletneva, Assistant Professor of Management, on being nominated for the 2025 Rosabeth Moss Kanter Award for Excellence in Work-Family Research.

Dr Pletneva was nominated for her 2024 paper, Turning work into a refuge: job crafting as coping with personal, grief-inducing events, which was published in the Academy of Management journal

“It is truly an honour to have my research recognised among the best work-family articles published in 2024.” Dr Pletneva said. “This recognition affirms that the questions I have been pursuing matter to the community, and I feel grateful that I have been having a chance to pursue such questions.”

A joint project of the Center for Families at Purdue University and the Boston College Center for Work & Family, the international award raises the awareness of high-quality work-family research among the scholar, practitioner, and consultant communities.  

The rigorous award process typically involves over 70 scholarly reviewers from all over the world who evaluate over 5,000 articles published in over 60 scholarly English-language journals.
