The role of stress testing in supervision and macroprudential policy
Co-organised by the Systemic Risk Centre, Financial Markets Group, and Centre for Economic Policy Research, the "Stress Testing and Macro-prudential Regulation: A Trans-Atlantic Assessment" conference held on 29th-30th October 2015 brought together more than 100 academics, policy makers, senior policy economists, and banking sector specialists to discuss the development of stress testing as a tool for macro-prudential supervision and regulation.
Vítor Constâncio, Vice-President of the European Central Bank, gave an interview on his views on stress testing after the conference.
