Diego joined the MTRG as a Research Associate in October 2023. He holds an MSc in International Health Policy (Health Economics) from the LSE, and a BSc in Economics from the University of Leeds.  

Before joining the MTRG, Diego worked as a Research Assistant at the Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC) at the LSE, and at a boutique pharmaceutical consultancy.

Diego has worked on a variety of projects, including on the determinants of nurse migration, projecting the number of individuals with learning disabilities in England, the factors associated with HTA success and the role of real-world evidence in HTA.

He is now the Research Officer responsible for HI-PRIX, a project investigating innovative payment systems for pharmaceutical products funded by Horizon Europe.
