Before you arrive

A warm welcome to all our offer holders! We look forward to you joining us here in the LSE Law School on Friday 19 September 2025. 

Over the summer of 2025, offer holders will be receiving a series of emails from the LSE Law School designed to help you get settled into your studies. There will also be a series of webinars, where you can meet key staff and ask any questions you might have about joining the Law School. You can expect to hear from us over the summer about the following topics:

  • The LSE LLM community and how to get involved.
  • The structure of the academic year and the academic support we offer.
  • An introduction to the LLM Programme Team.
  • Welcome events during your first week here at LSE, plus an online graduate course selection session.

Welcome Week and campus enrolment

Campus enrolment for LLM students is scheduled for Friday 19 September 2025.  You should plan to arrive on campus to attend enrolment on this date. Further information about campus enrolment can be found here. Please note that web pages will be updated over the summer of 2025.

Welcome is a programme of activities and events that will help you become #partofLSE. You will complete key administrative tasks, learn about what to expect from your LSE education and interact with new people. The main Welcome period takes place on Friday 19 and Monday 22 to Friday 26 September, with LSE LLM Welcome presentations from the Dean and other staff taking place during the afternoon of Friday 19 September.

Visas

All students who require a visa should refer as soon as possible to the guidance from ISVAT (LSE International Student Visa Advice Team).

Accommodation

Visit LSE Accommodation to discover more and to apply.  You are advised to make an early application.

Finance

The Financial Support Office is responsible for administering School funds and a variety of scholarships, studentships, prizes and awards. You are advised to make an early application.
