Before You Arrive

A warm welcome to all our offer holders! 

Below you’ll find key information to help you get ready for life at LSE – from programme details, to what you can expect in your first weeks. Take some time to explore the pages so you feel confident and prepared when you arrive. 

Welcome and Campus Enrolment

Welcome is your chance to get settled, meet new people, and help you become #partofLSE. Over two weeks – from Monday 22 September to Friday 3 October – you’ll take care of key admin, get the lowdown on the LLB programme and join in on some great social events. 

Your full Welcome schedule will be shared before you arrive – stay tuned! Welcome schedule here.

Enrolment is completed in two parts at LSE; you will complete pre-enrolment online which you will be prompted to do. You will complete campus enrolment during the Welcome period. For LLB students this is scheduled for Tuesday 23 September. Your timeslot will be listed on your Welcome schedule however you can also see the times listed below:

  • Surnames A-I – 11.15am-11.30am 
  • Surnames J-R – 11.30am-11.45am 
  • Surnames S-Z – 11.45am-12.00pm

Welcome to LSE

To make everything as easy as possible LSE has created a Welcome site for our incoming students. This covers everything from enrolment, understanding course selection, events, setting up your IT account and much more. 

In addition, take a look at the Information to Offer Holders page which has some useful FAQs to assist you with pre-arrival. 

 Free Hoodie

All LSE students are able to order a free LSE hoodie with LSE branding. An email will be sent out to all incoming students with a date and time they should pick up their hoodie and their individual collection code in due course.

All students who require a visa should refer as soon as possible to the guidance from ISVAT (LSE International Student Visa Advice Team).
