Christopher Walter is a former partner in Covington & Burling LLP, the international law firm, now serving the firm as International General Counsel and Compliance Officer for Legal Practice, with responsibility for compliance and people issues across eight international offices. He is a trustee of Glyndebourne Productions Limited, Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and founder of the pro bono law clinic for the performing arts sector. Previously, Christopher Chaired Covington's global employment practice, and served for eight years as Managing Partner of the London office. Christopher was also chair of the International Committee of the Employment Lawyers Association and sat on ELA’s board. He read law at City St. George’s, University of London and King’s College London and has published numerous articles and two books on employment law.
