LSE achievements recognised at the 21st LawWorks and Attorney General's Student Pro Bono Awards
Congratulations to LSE students and staff who were recognised at the 21st LawWorks and Attorney General's Student Pro Bono Awards earlier this week. Supported by the Attorney General and sponsored by LexisNexis, the awards celebrate the best pro bono activities undertaken by law students and law schools and the positive impact on those assisted.
LSE Law School Legal Advice Centre was highly commended in two categories: for Best Team of Students and Best Contribution by a Law School. It was also shortlisted for Best New Pro Bono Activity for the Homelessness Clinic.
Diana Kirsch, Director of the LSE Legal Advice Centre, commented:
"It was genuinely inspiring to hear about the amazing pro bono work taking place in universities across the UK. Congratulations to all the shortlisted teams — the event was a powerful reminder of why student pro bono matters so much.
I’m incredibly proud of what our students and colleagues have built in such a short time and grateful to everyone who contributes to our centre."
