We are delighted to announce that Professor Emily Jackson OBE has been elected as an Honorary (Academic) Bencher of Middle Temple. The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple is one of four Inns of Court exclusively entitled to Call their members to the Bar of England and Wales. Masters of the Bench, or Benchers, are responsible for the governance of the Inn. Masters are elected by their peers from the Inn’s members who have been Called to the Bar, but honorary positions are also awarded to distinguished individuals from other walks of life who have excelled in their respective professions.
