Dr McCandless is assistant professor of medical and family law, having joined the LSE in September 2010.  She was awarded her PhD from Keele University in July 2010. Her doctoral project was entitled Reproducing the Sexual Family: Law, Gender and Parenthood in Assisted Reproduction.
