Beyond the Casebook: Skills, Strategy & Careers in Law Week!

Beyond the Casebook is a four day bootcamp designed to help LSE Law students succeed academically, develop professional‑level skills, and navigate career choices with clarity and confidence.

Whether you are just starting your law degree or preparing for your next step after graduation, this programme bridges the gap between legal study and the real world.

DAY 2

(UG) Thinking Like a Lawyer (and Explaining It Clearly)

Session for UGs with Mel Atraghji and Bob Picken: Fine-tune your legal writing skills with Mel Atraghji, author of ‘Legal Writing and Contract Drafting’. Mel is joined by Bob Picken, both previously lawyers at magic circle law firms. Bob now teaches at BPP.

Please note that places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

LSE holds a wide range of events, covering many of the most controversial issues of the day, and speakers at our events may express views that cause offence. The views expressed by speakers at LSE events do not reflect the position or views of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
