About me

I have been teaching Russian as a Foreign Language ever since I graduated from Saint Petersburg State University (Russia) in 2011. I am passionate about my profession and see myself as a friendly, helpful, and creative teacher who inspires students.

Besides being a teacher, I am a certified Test of Russian as Foreign Language (TRKI) examiner and item writer. I joined the Language Centre at LSE in 2018. Currently, I teach the LN775 course and conduct annual TRKI exam sessions.

Office hour information for students: You can make a booking to see me via the Student Hub. My office hours are for Language Centre students who might have questions about TRKI exams and preparation.

About the Language Centre

LSE is a centre for the study of the social sciences and this is reflected in its Language Centre.

Our courses focus on language and society, encouraging you to learn how to use language in the contexts you would like to live, study and work in. We teach people to speak languages, but also teach about language (socio-linguistics and intercultural communication) and offer a range of courses on literature and society.

We offer English for Academic Purposes programmes, BSc programmes a range of undergraduate degree courses that can be taken as part of a degree and a range of language options that can be taken outside of a degree programme. All programmes and courses relate language study and support to the fields of interest of social science students.

The Language Centre is part of LSE’s Academic and Professional Development Division.
