Yenching Academy of Peking University

The Yenching Academy at Peking University offers outstanding graduates the opportunity to undertake a fully funded interdisciplinary Master's degree in China Studies. Scholars join an international cohort in Beijing and explore contemporary and historical perspectives on China through a flexible academic programme combining research, leadership development and cultural engagement.

Scholars have considerable flexibility in the design of their study programmes and can choose courses from any of six research areas, one of which they will choose for their thesis. Core courses are supplemented by a wide range of electives offered by the Academy and by other Peking University schools and departments.
